What’s Arriving and When?
Starting in October 2025, you’ll be able to get your hands on a right-hand-drive Shelby Super Snake or GT350 straight from Shelby UK’s new setup in Edinburgh. These were first shown off at a US auction, Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach, but now they’re coming home to proper UK dealerships — and there’ll even be cars on the forecourt soon. That said, they’re not going to be everywhere — just 30 right-hand-drive cars a year will be made for the UK, which makes them some of the rarest Mustangs we’ll have seen over here.
Clive Sutton — a name enthusiasts will know for bringing in US motors — is working alongside Shelby UK to handle orders and get the conversions sorted. Demand’s already heating up, especially around the showroom in Glasgow, so if you’re keen, you’d better move fast.

Models and Powertrain Options
You’ve got a choice when it comes to the GT350 — a 480bhp naturally aspirated version or a beefier 810bhp supercharged V8 for those who want that proper shove-in-the-back experience. If that’s still not enough, the Super Snake turns things up even more with a supercharged 5.0L V8 putting out over 830bhp, plus a load of performance upgrades like adjustable suspension, lightweight magnesium wheels, and loads of carbon fibre bits.
You can go manual or automatic on both models, and pick between a convertible or fastback body style. They’re based on the standard Ford Mustang platform, but given a full makeover here in the UK — they’ve got DVLA approval, sat-nav that actually works over here, and they’re good to go for everyday roads.
Anyone going for the Shelby Super Snake right hand drive UK version won’t just be buying a ‘tuned’ Mustang. This thing’s proper Shelby through and through — officially registered in the Shelby Registry and comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.
UK Pricing and Availability
Price-wise, we don’t have the exact UK figures yet, but there are some solid estimates based on US numbers. The supercharged GT350 goes for $109,995 in the States — just over £81,000 here — while the Super Snake is priced at $159,995, or around £120,000 before taxes, conversion, and UK-specific adjustments.
For a bit of comparison, a base Ford Mustang GT in the UK starts at £58,470 — so you’re definitely stepping up into serious performance territory here.
You can either upgrade your current Mustang with a conversion kit, or go all-in with a made-to-order, turnkey car through Clive Sutton or Shelby UK. Either way, the cars come fully road-legal, registered, and backed by a warranty.

Shelby Meets the UK: Why It’s a Big Deal
There’s never really been a right-hand-drive American muscle car quite like this available here — the Super Snake and GT350 bring something genuinely different to the UK scene. Sure, the standard Mustang offers great bang for buck, but the Shelby versions blow that out of the water, delivering 810 to 850bhp, rare-as-hens-teeth numbers, in-yer-face styling, and full UK support behind it all.
As for what’s next? Keep an eye on Goodwood 2026 and don’t hang about if you’re tempted. If you fancy owning one of the most ferocious road-legal Mustangs ever made — and in right-hand-drive, no less — your window of opportunity’s open right now.
