Peugeot is a firm that has gone from strength to strength in recent years, moving upmarket with a line-up of stylish and desirable products.
Its range now incorporates a number of hybrid and electric models, with a variety of cars spanning from smaller hatchbacks to seven-seat SUVs. There have been a number of new Peugeot models joining the range in recent months too. Let’s take a look at what Peugeots are available in 2023.
208
The entry point to the Peugeot line-up is the 208, and it’s a hugely popular choice as it was the best-selling car in Europe in 2022. Available with petrol engines or the electric e-208, boasting a range of up to 225 miles, it’s a very impressive small car.
The 208 has a very stylish design, especially with higher-spec GT models which get a sportier look. Inside, there’s plenty of technology, including Peugeot’s i-Cockpit digital driver display.
2008
If you want a little more space, it’s worth taking a look at the Peugeot 2008. This small crossover is based on the same platform as the 208 but gets a more rugged design and greater rear seat and boot space too.
Like the 208, it can be had with petrol, diesel and also an electric powertrain in the form of the e-2008. Peugeot has also recently revealed an updated model, bringing a fresher design and longer range for the EV – now boasting a claimed 252 miles between charges.
308
If you’re looking for a great all-rounder hatchback, a great choice is the 308. Rivalling cars like the Ford Focus and Volkswagen Golf, the 308 is practical, easy to live with and available with a great range of powertrains, including petrol, diesel and efficient plug-in hybrids that are great for company car drivers.
You can also choose the 308 in ‘SW’ estate form, which brings even greater practicality into the mix. The 308 has recently returned for a new generation, bringing an even smarter design and high-end interior.
3008
The 3008, particularly the second-generation car, will go down as a milestone moment for Peugeot. Really helping to shape this brand into the upmarket, stylish firm it’s regarded as today, this family SUV (based on the 308) has plenty more to offer.
Even as the years go in, it remains very stylish inside and out, while also boasting a large and practical boot. You can also get it with a wide choice of powertrains including petrol, diesel and various plug-in hybrids – including a 296bhp all-wheel-drive model.
408
Peugeot’s latest new model is the 408, and it’s certainly a car that’s gathering plenty of attention. With a striking look that makes it appear like nothing else on the road, the 408 is a sleek fastback with distinctive SUV-like styling cues.
Available with a choice of petrol or plug-in hybrid power, the 408 is a surprisingly spacious model that would work well as an alternative family car. The cabin also boasts the latest technology that Peugeot has to offer.

The 508 might not sell in huge numbers, but it’s a worthy flagship in this firm’s line-up. Available as a saloon or estate (called SW), it offers a glamorous design that has helped to inspire other Peugeot models.
An updated model has recently been revealed, boasting an even more eye-catching look and Peugeot’s latest touchscreen and digital dial displays. You can also choose the flagship ‘Peugeot Sport Engineered (PSE)’ model, boasting an advanced hybrid setup that develops a mighty 355bhp.

If you want a larger SUV, it’s the Peugeot’s 5008 that is the one to choose. It’s one of the most stylish seven-seaters on the market, with a clever interior that boasts plenty in the way of space.
While it’s now the only Peugeot not to be sold with a hybrid or electric powertrain, a good choice of petrol and diesel engines will suit those not quite ready for an electrified model just yet.
Rifter
If spaciousness is a top priority, and you’re not too concerned about styling, it’s worth a look at the Peugeot Rifter. Based on the firm’s compact Partner van, the Rifter is the passenger-carrying MPV model, but with a more rugged look to make it stand out from the crowd.
Available with up to seven seats, the Rifter is well-equipped and decent to drive as well. An electric model boasting a range of up to 173 miles can be bought alongside petrol and diesel versions.
Traveller
Last but not least we have the largest Peugeot of them all – the Traveller. Based on the mid-size Expert van, this is the firm’s roomiest model and can be specified with up to nine seats. It’s a great large family car and is perfect for shuttle and minibus duties too.
While previously available with diesel engines, Peugeot now only offers the e-Traveller model, which allows for a claimed range of up to 143 miles.
