Maserati has unveiled a sporty new ‘MC Edition’ for its most powerful Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte models.
Introduced to celebrate the brand’s ‘uncompromising performance and racing spirit’, the MC Edition model will come exclusively with the flagship 573bhp 3.8-litre V8 engine in the Ghibli and Quattroporte saloons, as well as the Levante SUV, and builds on the regular ‘Trofeo’ car.
The models will come painted in a choice of two exclusive colours, Giallo Corse and Blue Vittoria`. Both blue and yellow are the colours of Modena, where Maserati is based, with the Giallo Corse yellow having a blue fleck in the paint, while the Blue Vittoria shade is a three-layer matte shade.
MC Edition models also get a range of piano black styling elements, such as for the alloy wheels (which are 22 inches on the Levante and 21s on the other two cars), and come with specific badging and eye-catching blue brake callipers.
Inside, the cars come with blue carbon-fibre, along with yellow and blue stitching on the seats, which contrasts with the black leather upholstery. The versions also come with additional standard equipment, including an electric sunroof, Bowers & Wilkins sound system and additional driver assistance technology.
Maserati is yet to announce prices for the trio of MC Editions, though the models are set to be available to order before the end of the month.
